FinForm operates this website and platform, including all related information, content, features, tools, and services, in order to provide you, the customer, with access to financial education services and content (the 'Services'). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase or other transaction using the Services or otherwise communicate with us. If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy controls with respect to the collection, processing, and disclosure of your personal information.

Personal Information We Collect or Process
When we use the term "personal information," we are referring to information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to you or another person. Personal information does not include information that is collected anonymously or that has been de-identified, so that it cannot identify or be reasonably linked to you.
The collection of financial indicators, such as your income level or general savings range, is completely voluntary and based on the information you choose to provide during onboarding or within your sessions. You are not required to provide this information to use the Services, though doing so helps our Educators provide more tailored guidance. Furthermore, FinForm does not collect or process highly sensitive personal information such as Social Security Numbers, government-issued identification, or direct login credentials for your financial accounts.
We may collect or process the following categories of personal information, including inferences drawn from this personal information, depending on how you interact with the Services, where you live, and as permitted or required by applicable law:

Financial information including but not limited to income range, savings range, financial behaviors, imminent financial purchases, and transactional receipts.

Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
FinForm may "sell" or "share" certain categories of personal information to third parties for commercial purposes, including for data analytics, research, and targeted advertising. Specifically, we may sell inferences drawn from your financial indicators and usage behavior to our partners. Under certain state laws, this disclosure of information in exchange for consideration is defined as a "sale."

FinForm does not have the ability to delete or retrieve information from the systems of third parties once it has been transmitted. If you exercise your Right to Delete with FinForm, we will cease further sharing of your data, but you may need to contact third-party recipients directly to request deletion from their records.

While we do not utilize permanent user accounts, we take steps to secure the information you provide during the booking and counseling process. FinForm itself does not store sensitive payment card information; all payment processing is handled by a third-party service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of any session links or access codes sent to your personal email or device.

With our Independent Educators (Accredited Financial Counselors or AFCs) to facilitate the educational sessions. This includes sharing your name, contact details, and general financial indicators (such as income or savings ranges) so they can tailor the service. All Independent Educators are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and professional ethical standards regarding the handling of your information.
Session Content and Data
We do not record video or audio of 1-on-1 sessions. However, to maintain the quality of our service and for compliance, AFCs may take notes during or after a session which are stored securely. This session data is used only for quality assurance, compliance, and to facilitate follow-up educational sessions, and is retained for seven (7) years to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our contracts.
Relationship with Shopify
The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve the Services for you. Information you submit to the Services will be transmitted to and shared with Shopify as well as third parties that may be located in countries other than where you reside, in order to provide and improve the Services for you. In addition, to help protect, grow, and improve our business, we use certain Shopify enhanced features that incorporate data and information obtained from your interactions with our Store, along with other merchants and with Shopify. To provide these enhanced features, Shopify may make use of personal information collected about your interactions with our store, along with other merchants, and with Shopify. In these circumstances, Shopify is responsible for the processing of your personal information, including for responding to your requests to exercise your rights over use of your personal information for these purposes. Please note: While Shopify facilitates our storefront and transactional communications, your specific session-related data (such as onboarding quiz results and counselor notes) is managed through separate, secure scheduling and administrative tools. This session data is not shared with Shopify’s general merchant database for their own independent marketing or product improvement purposes.
Third Party Websites and Links
The Services may provide links to websites or other online platforms operated by third parties. If you follow links to sites not affiliated or controlled by us, you should review their privacy and security policies and other terms and conditions. We do not guarantee and are not responsible for the privacy or security of such sites, including the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of information found on these sites. Information you provide on public or semi-public venues, including information you share on third-party social networking platforms may also be viewable by other users of the Services and/or users of those third-party platforms without limitation as to its use by us or by a third party. Our inclusion of such links does not, by itself, imply any endorsement of the content on such platforms or of their owners or operators, except as disclosed on the Services.
Children's Data
FinForm maintains a "Hard Stop" policy regarding the sale of data for minors. If you are under the age of 18, we do not sell or share your personal information, financial indicators, or usage data with third parties for commercial or advertising purposes. While our services are educational for all ages, we believe in extra privacy protections for young adults entering the financial world. Data selling and sharing activities are strictly limited to users who have stated they are 18 years of age or older. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at support@finform.org and we will promptly delete that information from our records. As of the most recent update of this Privacy Policy, we do not have actual knowledge that we "share" or "sell" (as those terms are defined in applicable law) personal information of individuals under 18 years of age.
Security and Retention of Your Information
Please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee "perfect security." In addition, any information you send to us may not be secure while in transit. We recommend that you do not use unsecure channels to communicate sensitive or confidential information to us.
Company retains Client data to provide ongoing financial wellness insights and historical trend analysis. Personal data is retained for seven (7) years or until a deletion request is received. Company may retain de-identified or aggregated data indefinitely for research and service improvement purposes.
This allows us to comply with professional financial counseling record-keeping standards and legal obligations. After this period, or upon a valid request for deletion, your data will be securely destroyed or de-identified.
We implement administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect your information not only within our primary Services but also during internal processing. This includes using encrypted storage and access controls when personal information is transferred or exported between our internal administrative tools and scheduling platforms.
Your Rights and Choices

If we are able to associate the device sending the signal to a Shopify account, we will apply the opt out request to the account as well. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional emails, such as those about your scheduled sessions or orders.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. We may need to verify your identity before we can process your requests, as permitted or required under applicable law. In accordance with applicable laws, you may designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf to exercise your rights. Before accepting such a request from an agent, we will require that the agent provide proof you have authorized them to act on your behalf, and we may need you to verify your identity directly with us. We will respond to your request in a timely manner as required under applicable law.

International Transfers
Please note that we may transfer, store and process your personal information outside the country you live in.
